W & T brand intrinsically safe positioner is a digital field device using highly integrated microprocessor. Its position detection system and control unit can be connected separately.

The measurement of stroke and angle can be carried out directly on the actuator, which is used to control terminal control elements such as pneumatic straight stroke or angular stroke actuator. The electric positioner drives the actuator to the valve position corresponding to the set point. Additional input functions can be used to lock the valve position or drive the valve to a safe position. To achieve this function, a digital input channel has been integrated into the base product as a standard configuration.
